I have loved turning this devotional practice into a class at my church! We didn’t want it to end. There’s something beautiful that happens when we combine Scripture with creativity. I hope this inspires others to read a passage and then go find it in the world through the lens of the camera! So, our […]
Today, on Good Friday, Jesus died a horrific death. They were allowed to remove his body for burial, which was actually uncommon. The next day was a day of PREPARATION. How do we prepare to walk with the women to the tomb? It’s not empty yet. How do we enter their grief?
“My God, My God, why have you FORSAKEN me?” Words from the cross that always takes my breath away.

Psalm 36:5-6 Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep.

The Psalmist says that to PROCLAIM God is to give thanks. I’m giving thanks for my grandson. Tonight he held my hand and played with my nails, just like I did with my mom. Freeze these moments.
I have an infinite number of things to be grateful for. Today was a sad day. But then my crazy friends gave me these cards, all because of a silly Facebook post. They sure know how to fill a heart with GRATITUDE! Thanks Vicki, Linda and Marie!
